Raising Men

It is with great bitterness I proclaim that I am sick of raising men!
I have better things to do with my nights and weekends
I work hard EVERYDAY and take care of myself like I'm suppose to
Why can't he just get it together-- work--or even go to school?
I find myself thinking about how can I "fix" and re-prioritize his issues
He keeps cryin bout "the man" ---will somebody give that nigga tissue!
His baby mommas ain't doin like they suppose to- both of them are crazy
if you ask me, I know why his B.M.s left-- his ass is plain lazy!
Stop calling her CRAZY when you are craZIER because she was your chick
own your issues, work on them because your EXCUSES are making me sick!
You could deep dive in the river I have cried over the years
Motivating the unmotivated until i cried till i was outta tears
you would think I would learn from the mistakes others
quit playin Mistress Save'em to these underachieving brothers
We tolerate shit we hate and accept good sex as consolation
but sex (even the good kind) can't resolve your economic situation
its time we grow up and re-evaluate our self- worth
ohhhh and quit trading it in for 10 inches and wider girth
finding a good man may be an antiquated out-dated pursuit
BUT I will take Mr Nice in a suit. or Mr right timberland boots
long as he is working towards SUCCESS
he can get all my good-good business!
if raising your dude to be a MAN is what you're craving...
